Welcome to Telfair, the future city centre of Moka, in the heart of Mauritius. This new mixed-use neighbourhood with a significant proportion of office space enjoys all the advantages of Moka Smart City. It is very well connected with squares, lively pedestrian streets, restaurants, bars and shops. Telfair is so much more than just a neighbourhood, it is a destination that hums with life 24/7 and a great place to live, work, play and care.
The development of Telfair started in 2018 with the construction of infrastructure such as roads, bike and pedestrian paths and green spaces, including the Amphitheatre, where complimentary activities are offered every day. Since then, a residential development has been launched, the PwC headquarters have been completed, the Moka Smart City showroom and bistro have been set up and Oficea has built a new office building (The Dot) occupied by companies such as the law firm, Bowmans, Comforth Karoo and the project management teams overseeing the development of the neighbourhood. The latest additions include a new road linking the A7 road and Telfair Avenue with a roundabout, a brand new Shell filling station and a McDonald’s restaurant.
